Terrafugia has released a clip that depicts both the workings and the performance of its TF-X Outer Mold Line flying car.

To ensure the feasibility and realisation of the futuristic vehicle, Terrafugia is focusing its efforts on three areas: safety, simplicity and convenience.
Terrafugia has stated that manoeuvring a TF-X flying car is statistically safer than driving an automobile on the roads. It will be capable of avoiding other air traffic, bad weather and restricted airspace automatically. Between starting and landing points, the driver can switch between auto or manual just like in cars. The driving mechanisms are designed in such a way that drivers would take no longer than five hours to master the know-how.
In terms of convenience, the TF-X can carry up to four passengers and run on for a non-stop flight range of 500 miles.
Terrafugia will release pricing details closer to delivery date.
